Very insightful. ...I'm glad I found your blog. Very insightful. My mother-in-law was one of those people who would not speak to anyone unless they spoke first. I never understood that! I'm lucky to live in a small town, actually in the same town where I grew up. I don't know many people here anymore, since we moved away for 25 years, and there are many new people who have moved here, but for the most part it is still a very friendly place to live. I live in East Tennessee. We Southerners are known for being friendly.
